Why? because I’ve attended Millionaire Mind Seminar 2009 in MINES, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

It was really a mind blowing seminar for me, thanks to my positive thinking friend Yuenn to bring me there, no regrets at all to take out 3 days to attend the seminar out of my busiest schedule.

What i learn from this worthwhile seminar with just Rm235 for 3 days? it’s not just about a systematic way to become millionaire in a shortest time, also about wealth management, motivation, money attachment and overcome our emotional baggages, it’s a systematic way yet need serious effort to deal with it.  T.Harv Eker and his professional trainer did a super great job to convince us the importance of managing our life especially MONEY!

After all the 3 days seminar, the most compelling experience that i enjoyed much and enlightened me so much is the Arrow Breaking Exercise. 3500 seminar participants have to put the arrow on the soft spot of their throat, and then push their neck towards it, and finally break it!

I had some hesitations when i tried to break it, however, with the strong support from my team member, finally i did it! with some pain at my throat, and takes the longest time in my group which is about 5 minutes. The most important lesson i learn from this, i had too much hesitations, fear and hold back of myself..with too much unnecessary thoughts that hold me back from everything that i wanna do, and drew me further away from success.

Hosted vs Self-Hosted Blogs

Ever thinking of starting your own blog just for fun or profit?  First question that comes to mind is: Free Hosted or Self-Hosted?

Free Hosted Blog

Free blog comes freely, you can sign up in just a 5 minutes from: Blogger, TypePad and Wordpress.  There are more of all these free blogs around but these 3 are more prominent. With blogger.com you can simply sign up within 5 minutes, and viola your blog is up and running. You can also create as many blogs under one account. However the cons is - the biggest drawback about using free sites is that they are limited to what you can change on a blog.  A good example would be you want to add custom HTML code to you blog, you will have to upgrade and transfer all of your content later. Also, the most cumbersome problem is you will not have your own URL!

Self-Hosted Blog

you will need to buy a domain name (RM100) and a web hosting package that probably cost you about RM299/year, setup a blogging software, and take care of the details yourself (or contact PooiLing for help!) it may requires a little bit of effort to setup the blog, however, from the minute you host your own blog you will have total control and freedom of your site.  You can change absolutely everything on your blog from blog theme, to header and add HTML code wherever you want and make the blog of your dream.  You can also add custom pages, really you become a webmaster. from my experience, i highly recommend you to have a self-hosted blog because you can always make changes to your themes easily and you will not have any sort of restrictions. The choice, of course, is up to you and you should get the blog setup that best meets your needs. If you only plan on sharing the blog with friends & family, then a free hosted blog plan is sufficient.

However, if you need a good solution for business that wanted an inexpensive hosting solution - WORDPRESS is the answer for you, easy to use and provides such flexibility while take care of  most complicated code by widget.  And, if you have plans on starting a blog that will be highly traffkeced and will make money, i strongly recommend purchasing your own domain name and self hosted. A little while ago, my fellow internet marketer friend released an blog on the subject of affiliate marketing. It’s a 100 pages ebook, nothing much special, just some basic tips about affiliate marketing.

The basis of the book was about his affiliate marketing career and the tips & tricks he learns along the way.  The book was under 100 pages long and full of spelling mistakes.

The reason why I’m telling you this so you know anyone with half a brain could do what he did.

He only advertise the e-book with $250 US dollars, however, he manages to use other main method to promote his e-book, there are:
1) Joint venturing
2) Ezine advertising

There are tons of people are running ezines or we normally call it online newsletter in the internet world.
My problem was I have a good product, but I didn’t have a list of potential customers to send my offer to, so i offered ezine owner in my target maket that they will receive 50% of all the sales they refer to me. however, this sounds like a normal deal over the internet marketing world, so I’ve done a little bit further to sweeten the deal.

Besides the 50% profit, I also promise that I would pay them half of the ad cost (what it would normally cost someone to advertise in their newsletter), if they read the book, and recommend it to their potential customer lists.

Here I would like to explain the difference of an ad and a recommendation. If you get someone with credibility to promote your product, you will see the profits soar.

I had this happening every week and 1 weekend, a very big marketer promoted my book to his list, and just that weekend, i had $4000 in sales. just over 3 days, i had over $4000 in my credit card processor.

I was born in a very poor family who can only afford to eat chicken once a year…however, I never succumb to the situation and just keep working smart to earn money!

Somehow the business sense just exists genetically in all of our blood.  My whole family is really into business,
